Terms of Service

1. Service and Operator

Hangul Dot is a Hangul reading app that uses letter structure, pronunciation, games, puzzles, and review. The operator is sole proprietor WHITE, represented by Sejin Kim.

2. Scope of Use

We grant a license to use the service for personal learning. You may not copy or resell the app or its audio and lesson materials without authorization, or interfere with the operation of the service. Normal personal use of the app's card save/share feature is allowed, but this does not grant any right to commercially redistribute the card artwork itself.

3. Free Units and Paid Products

As planned for launch, U01 Basic Vowels and U02 ㄱ·ㄲ·ㅋ are free, and everything from U03 onward is a one-time purchase covering the full course. The current test version may have everything unlocked. The actual sale price and scope will be shown on the store's purchase screen at launch; we do not currently represent that payment is available.

4. Records and Usage Environment

Study records are stored on your device. Restoring a purchase does not restore your study records — check for possible data loss before deleting the app or changing devices. Results and time needed vary by individual.

5. Purchases & Refunds

Once payment is available, purchases, restores, and refunds will be handled according to the procedures of the store you purchased from and applicable law. We do not impose a blanket restriction such as 'no refunds on any purchase.' Details are provided in the purchase help page.

6. Rights and Responsibilities

Rights to the content belong to the operator or the rightful rights holder. These Terms do not exclude any consumer rights or operator responsibilities that cannot legally be limited. We will provide the necessary notice and take any legally required action if the service changes or is discontinued.

7. Changes to These Terms and Disputes

We will post any changes, their effective date, and any required notice procedures. The governing law and dispute-resolution procedure will be finalized once the operator's location and countries of sale are confirmed, without limiting any mandatory provisions that apply to consumers. Whether Apple's standard EULA applies will be confirmed before launch.
