Terms of Service

1. Service and Operator

Hangul Dot is a Hangul reading app that uses letter structure, pronunciation, games, puzzles, and review. The operator is sole proprietor WHITE, represented by Sejin Kim.

2. Scope of Use

We grant a license to use the service for personal learning. You may not copy or resell the app or its audio and lesson materials without authorization, or interfere with the operation of the service. Normal personal use of the app's card save/share feature is allowed, but this does not grant any right to commercially redistribute the card artwork itself.

3. Free Units and Paid Products

U01 (Basic Vowels) and U02 (ㄱ·ㄲ·ㅋ) are free. U03 through graduation are available through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. This is not a subscription and has no recurring or auto-renewing charge. Check the price and currency on the store payment screen before purchasing.

4. Records and Usage Environment

Study records are stored on your device. Restoring a purchase does not restore your study records — check for possible data loss before deleting the app or changing devices. Results and time needed vary by individual.

Sign in with the same store account used for the purchase and choose Restore Purchase in the app. This restores access to the paid course in that store; it does not restore learning progress, completion status or study time, or purchases from another store. App Store purchases cannot be restored in Google Play, or vice versa.

5. Purchases & Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the purchase details, region, store policy, and applicable law. We do not guarantee automatic approval.

6. Rights and Responsibilities

Rights to the content belong to the operator or the rightful rights holder. These Terms do not exclude any consumer rights or operator responsibilities that cannot legally be limited. We will provide the necessary notice and take any legally required action if the service changes or is discontinued.

7. Changes to These Terms and Disputes

We announce changes to these terms and their effective date and follow required notice and consent procedures. You may first raise a service dispute with support. Governing law and jurisdiction follow applicable law, without restricting mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. If no separate EULA is provided for the App Store app, Apple’s standard EULA applies. This notice does not amend or replace that EULA.
